Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Stoia website — the pages, calculators, and waitlist on getstoia.com. The Stoia app is not yet launched; when it launches, it will have its own privacy policy covering connected financial accounts, and this page will link to it.

What we collect

  • Waitlist email address. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you provide and use it to send occasional updates about Stoia's launch and early access. That's its only use. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
  • Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure records basic request data — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for security and operations. These logs are not used to profile you.

What we don't collect

  • Calculator inputs. Every number you type into our calculators is processed entirely in your browser. It is never transmitted to our servers, stored, or seen by us.
  • Advertising or cross-site tracking. No ad networks, no third-party tracking pixels, no sale of personal information — not now, not planned.

Who we share data with

Waitlist emails are stored with our email service provider solely to deliver our messages. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone. We would disclose information only if legally required to do so.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the waitlist at any time via the link in any email, or by writing to us. You may also request a copy or deletion of any personal information we hold about you (which, for this website, is at most your email address). Depending on where you live — including California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK (GDPR) — these rights may be backed by statute; we honor the requests regardless of where you live.

Data retention & security

Waitlist addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or the waitlist is retired after launch. The site is served over HTTPS, and access to the waitlist list is limited to the Stoia team.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
